Luke's Story
The last few years has seen some big changes for us. We were once a small independent business like yourself. We had a small but diverse range of products that we sold to our loyal customers through our online store.

As we have been there before, we really understand the problems you face when running your business. One of the biggest challenges we found was being able to source the right products, at the right price, in the right quanity. We felt there must be a solution to this problem, and that is when we came across sourcing companies.
​
We thought "let's give these guys a go", and in no time we saw the benefits to our business. It wasn't just new products that we were able to source, we were even able to get better deals on products we were already sourcing from small wholesalers. As we developed relationships with other sourcing companies and saw our business grow, we then started to think about how we were going to grow the business next. This was when we realised that we needed to become a sourcing company ourselves.

Following very early success, after only a couple of months of sourcing The WIT Group Ltd was incorporated in August 2022. We continue to develop relationships with a growing number of clients, offering them access to a wide range of products they previously weren't able to obtain and we are saving them huge amounts of money and time.
​
We have already built a sizeable network of brands, distributors, and wholesalers who we use to source products at great prices on their behalf. We are always looking to add to our network of suppliers to further enhance our clients experience and expand on the range of opportunities we can offer.

So now you know how The WIT Group got to be where we are today, I want to tell you a little about me, Luke Wilkinson, Director of The WIT Group.
I worked in 2 large Corporate companies for almost 2 decades. Whilst I enjoyed my time working for such large companies, and value the skills they taught me, I knew that this wasn't what I wanted to do forever.

I decided to do something I was passionate about. I had always enjoyed buying and selling as a hobby, but knew that I could make this a living if I was able to put the time in. That was when I started my online store and the journey that you read above.

What We Do
The WIT Group offers clients a complete end to end service for all their product sourcing needs. We focus on 4 core areas to deliver on their requirements;
Develop Relationships
The key to our success is the way we build relationships with both our clients and suppliers.
When starting a relationship with a new client, we do everything we can to understand their business and their customers. We can then use this insight to help us deliver the services they require.

We also use this customer insight to then develop relationships with new brands, distributors, and wholesalers, to ensure that we are able to source the right products for them.
Identify Products
Once we have built up relationships we our clients, we can offer a service where we can identify products to source on their behalf. This is particularly useful for our clients who may be looking to broaden the range of products they are offering their customers, and need our expertise in doing this.
It also allows them to spend more time engaging with their customers and running their business. However, this isn't required by all our clients, some will already by aware of what products they need and simply look to us to source on their behalf.

Product Delivery
As part of the sourcing process we also provide a delivery service for any orders our clients make. As we are ordering on behalf of our clients, we take delivery of the product at our warehouse too. We carry out checks to ensure quantity is correct and the quality is to our high standards.
Once we have booked and processed the order, we then arrange to deliver to our client. In the instant they are local we are happy to deliver the order personally, otherwise we use a next day courier service.
